New Resort Makes Maldives An Attractive Option For Young Singletons

Most people think of the Maldives as a honeymoon resort or a destination for loved-up couples celebrating important anniversaries. However, times are changing, and this stunning Indian Ocean paradise has not only become an attractive holiday spot for families but also for those who want to kick back and enjoy the laidback atmosphere with their friends. Finolhu is a new beach resort in the Maldives where themed nights are a regular occurrence. There is also an in-house band every Tuesday to Sunday and guests can enjoy a fantastic party on Saturday nights, with a DJ by the pool. Maldives all-inclusive holidays have never been more attractive!

Party Destination

Finolhu’s manager, Rochelle Kilgarriff, said, “It won’t be a huge party destination in the sense of Ibiza or Thailand, but we would like to create that vibe that exists in those party places.”

Finolhu has five bars from which to choose and, with a live DJ playing music by the pool every day from 2pm, this resort is certainly kicking up a storm with young revellers.

Stunning Beach

Away from the partying, the beach at Finolhu is truly spectacular, with 1.8 km of white sandy shores and delightful warm waters in which you can swim, paddle or snorkel. Guests can also enjoy trips further out to sea to scuba dive, fish or see the dolphins. There is also ample opportunity for relaxing by the pool with a cocktail before the party begins in the afternoon.

The accommodation here consists of spacious villas with comfortable furnishings and everything guests could want to make their stay more enjoyable. Private infinity pools, sun decks, ocean views and complimentary wi-fi are all on offer at Finolhu.

As with most resorts in the Maldives, Finolhu does not disappoint when it comes to keeping guests entertained. Choose from a host of land- and water-based activities as well as an on-site spa where superb treatments are provided.

Enjoying the Maldives

There is a misconception that tropical destinations such as the Maldives are reserved for the rich and famous, or for those who have saved a small fortune for their once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon, but Indian Ocean destinations are becoming much more accessible these days thanks to all-inclusive holiday packages.

For those who want to enjoy picture-perfect surroundings and the most stunning beaches in the world, the Maldives is an attractive option. As Finolhu seems to be targeting young singletons, it may not be the best option for those travelling with small children, but that does not mean the Maldives is not an ideal choice for families.

In fact, there are plenty of superb resorts around this paradise island nation that welcome children and do everything in their power to ensure that every member of the family has a holiday to remember. Parents can sit back and relax while their children are entertained in dedicated kids’ clubs, and many resorts also offer babysitting services so that parents can enjoy a quiet drink while the kids are in bed.
